Hi I’m Steve Jones

I’m a songwriter who has spent a lot of years focusing on the day job, but now I'm back to concentrating on what I love doing best, writing songs!

My influences extend back to the Beatles, through Dylan, Fairport, Springsteen, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton.

I also play keyboards, and I have spent several years with The Songwritinjg Academy.

My songs are from the heart, and are about people, their everyday lives and loves, and everything in between.

I have been so very fortunate to write with such wonderful multimillion selling songwriters as Jeff Franzel ( Shawn Colvin, Rhys Lewis, Dennis van Arsen, ), Paddy Byrne ( Will Young , Paloma Faith ), Martin Sutton ( Cliff Richard, LeAnn Rimes ), Ed Hill ( Luke Bryan, Faith Hill ), Mark Cawley ( Tina Turner, Diana Ross ), Rob Davis ( Kylie Minogue ), and Mo Pleasure ( Earth , Wind , and Fire ).

Many of my songs are written with the award winning Caro Jordanow, and the multiumillion selling writers Jeff Franzel, and Paddy Byrne.

A lot of my songs tend to be Country , but cross over into folk, Pop, MOR and Adult Contemporary. I tell stories through my songs.
